Nausicaa Karasmanoglou is an interdisciplinary artist and designer working across digital and analogue media, using technology, poetics and the body. They currently hold a practice based in Amsterdam (NL) and Athens (GR).

Their focus centres on how bodies act as interfaces where both organic and infrastructural forces interact in physical, psychic and symbolic ways. The Body is extended beyond the flesh-bound to include more-than-human and material systems, treated as a collective conduit of sensing and archiving.

Their process makes visible the inherent and emergent friction in the mediums it engages with, further underlining the relationship between synthetic and organic, object and subject.
