PORTRAIT(SIC) is a meditation on illness, presence and legibility as experienced through dominant cultural mythologies and power structures. It is an ode to bodily ambiguity and disruption, not only of health, but of narrative, perception, temporality,  infrastructure.

Through the act of capturing day-to-day events that mirror their embodied perspective, the Ill Subject constructs a living archive that resists the institutional gaze and structural erasure of their lived experience.
